These terms apply to the Housekeepr app, this website and our messages, operated by Calvera HQ LLC. By using Housekeepr you agree to them.

What Housekeepr is

Housekeepr is a marketplace that connects customers with independent house cleaners. Cleaners are independent contractors, not employees of Calvera HQ LLC. They set their own services, prices and availability.

Bookings and payment

  • Prices, including tax, are shown before you book. Payment is taken through Stripe when you book.
  • A booking is confirmed once the cleaner accepts it. Requests a cleaner doesn't answer within 24 hours expire, and any payment is returned.
  • Cancellations: free up to 24 hours before the appointment; a 50% fee applies from 2 to 24 hours before; no refund within 2 hours of the appointment.
  • Tips are optional and go to your cleaner.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate booking details, provide safe access to your home, and treat cleaners with respect. Cleaners agree to our contractor agreement when they join.

Reviews and messages

Reviews must be honest and based on a real booking. Don't use in-app messaging to arrange payment outside Housekeepr or to share anything abusive.

Limitation of liability

Housekeepr is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Calvera HQ LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from services performed by independent cleaners.

SMS terms

Program: Housekeepr by Calvera HQ LLC sends booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cleaner arrival updates, account notices, and, if you opt in, occasional updates about our launch and offers.

How you opt in: by entering your phone number and checking the consent box in the chat on gethousekeepr.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Frequency: message frequency varies, typically a few messages per booking.

Cost: message and data rates may apply.

Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop all texts. You'll get one confirmation and no further messages.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
